(Long Time Employees To Be Feted In Time For Labor Day)

Fullerton, Calif (August 19, 2009) — Know anyone who has worked for the same company for a long time? Someone who has managed to dodge the slings and arrows of the workplace and stayed firm in his/her position? A person who understands how to deftly manage politics in order to climb the ladder of success? In observation of Labor Day, The Cellar, one of Orange County's best known dining establishments, is conducting a search for the individual who has worked for the same employer the longest no matter what strategy they employed (those who are self employed are not eligible). The top five contenders will be invited to a special luncheon to be held in their honor the Friday before Labor Day, September 4 at 11:30 a.m., where they can expound on their secret to their long-term staying power. The winner will receive a plaque and dinner for two at The Cellar.

"We wanted to roll in the Labor Day weekend with a nod to the workforce — especially those who have managed to maintain their jobs for a long time," said Dudley, who has owned the Fullerton restaurant for five years. "In this day and age of job uncertainty, perhaps we'll learn some secrets to preserving job security and even thriving during challenging times."
