OC's Green Thumb - Part 2

Uncover a few of the hidden gardens in Orange County and its surrounding areas, from an island retreat to a yet to be opened shopping oasis.

Annual Southern California Spring Garden ShowIsland Life
The Wrigley Family created the Catalina Island’s Botanical Gardens more than 70 years ago. Today, the Garden places a special emphasis on often rare California island endemic plants – plants that grow naturally on one or more of the California islands, but nowhere else in the world.

Laguna’s Roses
Dozens of roses are spoiled with one of the best views in Laguna Beach behind the patio of Las Brisas restaurant. Enjoy an afternoon sipping a margarita, then catch a glimpse along the path to Main Beach.

Where the Wild Things Are
Primarily recognized for its more than 4,000 animal residents, the San Diego Zoo is also a renowned botanical garden.

Coming Soon to Anaheim
Set for completion in Spring 2008, Anaheim GardenWalk is a shopping, dining and entertainment promenade that will feature five unique gardens in the heart of Anaheim. The first phase of dining opens in November 2007.
