Modernizing the ACC Arena

Anaheim Convention Center Arena

The Anaheim Convention Center’s landmark 8,700-seat Arena is in the midst of an impressive upgrade. This classic 39-year-old, Googie architecture structure is going through a modernization process blending the Arena with the existing redesigned Anaheim Convention Center.

“We are creating a seamless environment where indoor and outdoor meetings and special events can thrive. We are fortunate to have exceptional year-round climate in Anaheim, and this together with our new palm tree-lined courtyard and signature fountain enhances our entire meeting and event atmosphere,” noted Greg Smith, executive director, Anaheim Convention Center.

Additionally, the Arena recently engaged in a five-year contract with AEG Facilities Inc. to bring in a variety of concerts and public events. It is now the home court of the NBA Development League’s new team, the Anaheim Arsenal. Their inaugural season at the Arena began November 24, 2006.
