Anaheim & Neighboring Cities
Anaheim is a hub of convention and tradeshow activity. It’s home to the largest convention center on the West Coast.

- The Anaheim Resort District is a 1,100-acre area located in central Anaheim that encompasses the original Disneyland® park, the newer Disney’s California Adventure, the Downtown Disney® entertainment district, and the Anaheim Convention Center. It is easily navigated via the red trolley-like Anaheim Resort Transit (ART) buses, which pick up and drop off visitors on a circuit around the Anaheim Resort District.
- Major attractions that make great off-site event venues are generously sprinkled throughout this region and include Knott’s Berry Farm, Richard Nixon Presidential Library & Museum, Bowers Museum, Discovery Science Center, the Fullerton Arboretum and South Coast Plaza shopping center.
- The performing arts have found a welcoming home here, as well, as Costa Mesa is home to both the Orange County Performing Arts Center (shown left) and South Coast Repertory.
- The Orange County/John Wayne Airport (SNA) is located in Santa Ana, a convenient gateway to Orange County. As a result, many hotels in this region offer shuttles for guests traveling to and from the airport.
South Orange County

Well-equipped for business proceedings, this area is home to the University of California at Irvine and the Irvine Business Center, which make ideal campus environments for meetings and events.
- San Juan Capistrano, home to Mission San Juan Capistrano (shown right), is representative of the historic essence of this region. Close proximity to the Orange County/John Wayne Airport means a number of hotels and meeting spaces are easily accessed by business travelers.
Beach & Coastal Cities

Some of the country’s most magnificent coastline is right here in Orange County — and there are 42 miles of it to enjoy.
- With plenty of impressive amenities, including renowned golf courses such as Pelican Hill and Monarch Beach Golf Links, the coastal area is a great setting for corporate gatherings, incentive meetings and executive board retreats.
- Each of this region’s major beach communities have a distinct identity and are able to accommodate events and meetings in a unique way. They include Dana Point, a charming, low-key community; Huntington Beach, also called Surf City USA®; Newport Beach, with its picturesque stretches of golden sand; and Laguna Beach, best known for its start as an artists’ colony and its spectacular cliff views overlooking a dazzling beach.

- Major attractions and cities grouped under this category include SeaWorld San Diego, the San Diego Zoo, Universal Studios in Universal City near Los Angeles, and Long Beach’s historic ocean liner, the Queen Mary. One of California’s most thriving wine regions is also nearby in the Temecula Valley.
