Uncover California’s colorful past, urban legends and coastal jewels

pow wowExperience the dramatic coastline of Dana Point, named the most romantic spot on the coast by 19th century author Richard Henry Dana. Discover the treasures of this legendary area: cruise the harbor, spot the resident sea lions and stroll past the re-creation of California’s famous Tall Ship, the Pilgrim.

Then, turn back the hands of time to an early California era at the striking and historic Mission San Juan Capistrano, known as the “Jewel of the Missions.” Interactive stations will provide a sense of the rich history, including early CA cuisine, basket-weaving, adobe brick making, mid-19th century music and dance and wine making.

Finally, explore the quaint city of San Juan Capistrano, where you’ll uncover the mysterious and haunting tales of California’s oldest neighborhood.
