Many of today's hottest new designers are based in Orange County. There must be something in the cool ocean air, or maybe it's the local lifestyle that inspires their trendy looks. Whatever the case, the OC is becoming a hotbed for fashion's edgier up-and-comers.

Newport Beach-based Trovata made their debut at New York Fashion Week and received the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s 2006 award for best emerging talent in menswear.

Oakley, a worldwide leader in premium sunglasses and performance products, is based in Orange County and recently launched a new line of stereo eyewear.

Irvine-based luxury clothier St. John is a global fashion giant with roots in classic knit styles. You may have seen their recent talked-about ad campaign featuring Angelina Jolie.
