Orange County’s summer festival season heats up with a colorful array of summertime fun from romantic amphitheater concerts under the stars to engaging family activities sure to establish new family traditions.  A few of year’s events include:

The Orange County Super Fair (July - August): This year’s theme at the Orange County Super Fair is “Think.Big.” and elements of this idea will be seen throughout this summer classic.  New this year is “Al’s Brain,” a 3D journey through the human brain with the one and only “Weird Al” Yankovic.  This year’s Super Fair also features an excellent line-up of musical acts including, The Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Clarkson, Heart, and Duran Duran, at the Pacific Amphitheatre. There are a number of special discounts throughout its run. The OC Super Fair will also offer is an exclusive season pass that grants its holder admission to the fair for all 23 days.

Pageant of the Masters/Festival of Arts (July - August): The legendary Pageant of the Masters, set in an intimate amphitheater in Laguna Beach, is a live recreation of masterpiece paintings and sculptures performed nightly. The Pageant is set within the grounds of the renowned Festival of Arts. The Festival of Arts is a summertime tradition dating back to 1932 that features some of the Southern California’s most creative artists.

Art-A-Fair/Sawdust Art Festival (June – August): Located across the street from the Pageant of the Masters and Festival of Arts is the Art-A-Fair and the Sawdust Art Festival.  The Art-A-Fair features 125 internationally juried artists and master craftsmen and is a premier event for up-and-coming talent.  The Sawdust Art Festival’s Summer Show is a gathering of art fans, collectors and beginning artists that showcases the unique art created in Laguna Beach.

Orange International Street Fair (Labor Day Weekend): For the last three decades, people have gathered in downtown Orange’s historic district to raise a glass, try a new dish and hear live bands at the Orange International Street Fair.  This end of summer traditional features live international music and dance and taste treats from Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East. Admission is free!

This summer also offers a variety of value-packed Disney vacations loaded with enticing giveaways and extras, such as children ride free on ART (Anaheim Resort Transit). With the purchase an adult ART pass (with any of these special promotions) kids get a ticket to ride on this convenient visitor trolley for free.
