Essential to the Orange County “vacation scene” are the family friendly theme parks.  The many theme parks in and around the Orange County area allow you explore magical new worlds, view expansive movie backlots, and get up close and personal with the wildest of animals.  But if you’re traveling without the kids, Orange County has options for you, too!

Award-winning casinos and wineries are located just outside of Orange County.  Casinos such as Pechanga Resort & Casino or San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino, which are located 30-90 minutes outside of Orange County, feature table games, slot machines, great dining and top-level live entertainment.  Or for a quieter approach, head out to the wineries in Temecula for some wine tasting, tranquil spa services, or if you’re feeling adventurous, a hot air balloon ride.

There are also other exciting outdoor activities to do while on vacation in Orange County.  You can head down to the beach year-round for whale and dolphin watching or take an OC wildlife and beach tour.  You can also carve your own path and head out to the many hiking trails that run throughout Orange County.
